Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian

We're a little unfamiliar with the GF resort but finally found Narcoossees with help from a CM. Our timing couldn't have been more perfect, on arrival the lights dimmed and we all trooped outside to see the vintage Water Pageant which we had never seen before, it's so adorable. Then Disney's famous Wishes show took to the skies. Music is piped onto Narcoossees deck area to provide a delightful pre dinner showing
We shared a bowl of mussels for appetizer: pure indulgence, they were served with parmesan crostini and we accompanied this with a bottle of Sterling Sauvignon Blanc.
D ordered mustard crusted ahi tuna with couscous, excellent crispy crust with a perfect balance of flavour and heat.
And for J: salmon with wilted spinach and crushed new potatoes and pistaccios, I can honestly say this is the best salmon dish ever! Very well seasoned. Followed by strawberry and rhubarb cobbler and Earl Grey tea: nice fruit but the topping was soggy, oh-no. Dan had a Macallan with his coffee.
The grand total being $147 + tip. A return visit is inevitable, we loved the intimate atmosphere and the fireworks help too!
